Welcome to Wood You Engrave. By purchasing products, requesting custom work, scheduling consultations, or using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. General

Wood You Engrave provides custom laser engraved and handcrafted products. Because many items are personalized and made-to-order, all customers are expected to carefully review product details, customization requests, and order information before final approval and purchase.

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or deny requests at our discretion.

2. Custom Orders & Personalization

Customers are fully responsible for:

  • Correct spelling of names, dates, and custom text
  • Uploaded images, logos, or artwork
  • Reviewing proofs or mockups before approval

Once a design has been approved and production has started, changes may not be possible.

Wood You Engrave is not responsible for customer-submitted errors after approval.

3. Handmade Product Disclaimer

All products are handcrafted and may contain natural variations including:

  • Wood grain differences
  • Slight stain/color variation
  • Minor engraving variation
  • Natural knots or markings in wood

These are not considered defects and are part of the uniqueness of handmade products.

4. Payment

Full payment may be required before work begins on custom orders.

Prices are subject to change at any time without notice.

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the order.

5. Refunds & Returns

Due to the personalized nature of custom products:

Custom Orders

Custom and personalized items are generally non-refundable and non-returnable once production has begun.

Non-Custom Items

Non-custom items may be eligible for return within [7–14] days of delivery if unused and in original condition.

Customers must contact us before returning any item.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect due to our error.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If an order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Customers must contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Photos of the damage/item may be required

We may offer:

  • Replacement
  • Repair
  • Store credit
  • Partial/full refund at our discretion

7. Shipping & Delivery

Estimated turnaround and shipping times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Wood You Engrave is not responsible for:

  • Shipping carrier delays
  • Lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery
  • Incorrect shipping addresses provided by customers

Customers are responsible for ensuring shipping information is accurate.

8. Intellectual Property

Customers may not reproduce, resell, copy, or distribute Wood You Engrave designs, product photos, branding, or artwork without written permission.

Customers submitting logos or artwork confirm they have the legal right to use those materials.

Wood You Engrave is not liable for copyright or trademark violations caused by customer-submitted content.

9. Limitation of Liability

Wood You Engrave shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or incidental damages
  • Delays outside our control
  • Misuse of products
  • Minor handmade variations

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service purchased.

10. Safety Notice

Some products may contain small parts, sharp edges, or fragile materials and should be kept away from small children unless specifically designed as child-safe products.

Customers are responsible for proper use and supervision.

11. Changes to These Terms

Wood You Engrave reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice.

Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
